Dear Cubbies Parents~
Thanks for a great start to our Cubbies year. It is a joy and privilege to work with your children each week.
Many of you received a volunteer/snack packet this past week. It is an orange letter stapled to a lime green card stock sheet with 4 uncut postcards. I must apologize as there has been some confusion with this information. I originally communicated this process during Cubbies open house--it might not be as clear on the paper.
~To answer the most common question I have been receiving--no, you do NOT have to send a snack with your Cubbie this week.~
The lime green page is a set of 4 postcards that I need you to self address and return to club. When it is your turn to provide a snack (2 times a year), I will send a postcard with the snack we need to you. The snack we will request will be specific to the verse we will be studying the next week--for example, if we are studying the story of Moses we might request red jello and goldfish crackers to represent the parting of the Red Sea. Thank you in advance for helping us by providing what we will need.
All parents who are not serving in an Awana club should help Cubbies by volunteering twice a year. A list of ways to serve is on the orange letter you received. Please let me know which position you would like to help with by writing it down when you return your lime green page. Again, we will use the postcards to remind you when it is your time to serve.
I am sorry for any confusion this process may have caused. Feel free to call or e-mail me if you have any more questions.
In Him~
